On August 13, 2012, HCL launched its new 3G tablet in the Indian markets at a price of 14,999. The tablet comes with a 7 inch touch screen which has a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 Single core processor which is backed by a 1 GB RAM. HCL ME Y2 has an internal of 8 GB of memory. The tablet functions on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It runs on a powerful 4000 mAh battery. It also features a 3 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera which allows the user to make video calls.

They are available on this site for pre-order and have been priced at 6,490 which makes it yet another budget tablet to hit the market this month.
